I love banana chips, they are one of my all-time favourite snacks. It’s pretty hard to find nut-free ones at the store though, so why not make them homemade? This recipe is super easy. Enjoy!
Baked Banana Chips
- 3 bananas (cut into thin slices)
- 3 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven at 250 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the banana slices on the pan. In a small bowl, mix the oil, cinnamon and vanilla. Brush mixture on bananas and bake for approximately two hours. Turn the bananas over at the half way point. Let cool for a while. The longer they cool, the harder they will get.
Store in an air-tight container for up to two weeks.
Yields about one cup of chips.
