Chocolate Rum Balls (Vegan & Raw)

This is a great recipe for the holidays. They’re so sweet and delicious and yet so healthy. You’ll fool everyone. Enjoy 🙂

Chocolate Rum Balls

  • 2 cups medjool dates (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
  • 1/3 cup rum
  • 4 tbsp organic cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp hulled hemp hearts
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 5 tbsp flaked unsweetened coconut

Soak the dates in water for at least 30 minutes. Drain and put into a food processor along with the rum and pumpkin seeds. Place mixture into a small bowl. Stir in the cocoa, hemp and chia. Chill in the fridge for up to an hour. Spoon mixture into your hands and roll into balls. After rolling, coat the balls in flaked coconut. Let chill in the fridge for another hour, then they are finally ready to eat.
