A healthier take on an all-time classic.
- 2 tbsp flax meal
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 ripe banana (mashed)
- 6 tbsp vegan butter (soy-free)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (sub gluten-free alternative)
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 7 tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
- 2 tbsp hemp protein
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine the flax meal, water, mashed banana, vanilla and butter; set aside. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, cacao powder, hemp protein, sugar and salt. Add the wet ingredients to the dry, slowly incorporating the warm water until dough is gooey and ready to go.
Bake in a lined mini muffin tin for approximately 15 minutes.
Let cool then INDULGE.
Yields three dozen brownies.
